BLUBONIC INDUSTRIES — 35% FOOD GRADE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE CARE & HANDLING

PRECAUTIONS

Can cause skin and eye burns undiluted. If skin contact occurs, rinse immediately with running water. Contact may cause temporary stinging and whitening as oxygen is released; this will progress until flushed thoroughly for 15 minutes. Color will return and stinging will subside after flushing. Use gloves when handling to avoid skin contact.

Eye contact can cause permanent damage. Flush immediately with running water for 15 minutes and seek medical care if needed.

If ingested undiluted, do not induce vomiting. Drink large quantities of water and seek medical care if needed.

STORAGE / SHELF LIFE
Food grade hydrogen peroxide is produced within 30 days of shipment to ensure freshness. The vented seal and cap liner are designed to manage natural oxygen release during storage and transit.

A small amount of moisture or seepage may occasionally be visible inside the poly bag during shipment. This is normal and does not affect the contents of the sealed bottle. If present, a simple water rinse will neutralize any external moisture.

Unopened shelf life: Up to 4 years in freezer storage; up to 3 years refrigerated; up to 2 years unrefrigerated.
Once opened, expected shelf life: 1–2 years in freezer storage; 6–12 months refrigerated; up to 6 months unrefrigerated.

DILUTION
Always use distilled water. Other water types contain trace minerals that accelerate degradation.

Approximate dilution ratios: 3% → 1:11 (H₂O₂ : distilled water); 6% → 1:5; 12% → 1:2.

To calculate: add the ratio parts together, then divide your desired total volume by that sum to determine the amount of hydrogen peroxide. The remainder is distilled water.

Example: To make 32 oz of 3%, 32 ÷ 12 = 2.66 oz hydrogen peroxide + 29.34 oz distilled water.

Note: Dilutions prepared from stabilizer-free hydrogen peroxide do not contain added chemical stabilizers. As a result, a 3% solution may exhibit a more pronounced active oxygen reaction compared to stabilized 3% products.

SKIN CONTACT (DILUTED USE)
At 6%–12%, temporary stinging and whitening may occur depending on sensitivity and exposure time. Effects are typically mild to moderate and subside after several minutes.

Use controlled application methods to limit exposure to intended areas. Small applicators (e.g., cotton swabs) are recommended for precise application.

TESTING
Hydrogen peroxide test strips are the most reliable consumer method. A secondary method is dilution to 3% and use as a mouth rinse; foaming and tingling indicate active oxygen release on mucous membranes.

External skin reactions (vs. mucous membranes like the mouth) and audible “sizzling” on surfaces are not reliable indicators of concentration due to variability in conditions.

USAGE
Food-grade hydrogen peroxide is used across many applications. We do not provide application-specific guidance.

SAFETY
Keep out of reach of children. Triple-sealed for quality assurance and leak prevention (cap, liner, poly bag).

In the unlikely event of leakage, rinse with water to neutralize.
