What is Hydrogen Peroxide?
Composed of only WATER and OXYGEN, Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) is nature's bleach and the most effective oxidizer known to science. Food grade refers to the standard of handling and quality set by the Food Chemical Codex. When properly diluted, hydrogen peroxide is widely used for cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting applications throughout the home and garden.
 
Why We're Different: 
Most food-grade hydrogen peroxide is produced with chemical stabilizers. Blubonic manufactures its own hydrogen peroxide through a stabilizer-free process and controlled production — not repackaged from bulk supply.
 
Shelf Life & Storage:
Hydrogen peroxide is manufactured within thirty days of shipment to ensure exceptional freshness. Our vented seal and cap liner are designed to manage natural oxygen release during storage and transit. A small amount of moisture or seepage may occasionally be visible inside the poly bag during shipment. This is normal and does not affect the contents of the sealed bottle. If present, a simple water rinse will neutralize any external moisture. 
 
Unopened shelf life: Up to 4 years in freezer storage, up to 3 years refrigerated, up to 2 years unrefrigerated. 
Once opened, expected shelf life: 1–2 years in freezer storage, 6–12 months refrigerated, 1–6 months unrefrigerated.

Because this product is stabilizer-free, hydrogen peroxide naturally decomposes back into water and oxygen over time. While concentration may gradually decrease, the efficacy of the resulting solution remains intact. 
 
Containment: Hydrogen peroxide, particularly at higher concentrations, requires chemically compatible storage. Blubonic uses high-density polyethylene (HDPE) containers with vented closures designed to manage natural oxygen release and maintain stability during storage and transport. HDPE is the recommended material for hydrogen peroxide storage at these concentrations and provides a stable, non-reactive surface.

Undiluted product can cause skin and eye burns. Use appropriate protective equipment and keep out of reach of children. When diluting hydrogen peroxide for use or storage, always use distilled water. Other water types—including deionized, demineralized, and purified—contain trace elements that react with and degrade hydrogen peroxide.
